GRAND TERRACE HIGH SCHOOL
Construction Continues as Usual!
“Although boring to some, given the long, arduous journey of this project the last 10 years, this is exactly where we want to be,” according to Darryl Taylor, the new Director of Facilities and Planning at CJUSD. Recently-hired Mr. Taylor is working closely with the District’s Program Manager, Seville Construction Services and the project construction management team, Vanir, to get up to speed on this project, learning its history. Setbacks as well as triumphs punctuated site acquisition, funding, and start of construction activities. However, the positives far outweigh the challenges as attested by future Grand Terrace high students who recently elected the Titan for the school mascot and turquoise and black for its school colors. Grand Terrace High School, when complete will represent another triumph for Colton Joint Unified School District.
