Karla Sandrin has been with the Colton Joint Unified School District since 1999. As a teacher at Washington High School she taught English, social sciences, keyboarding, English Language Development, and REACH. She coached Mock Trial and was the yearbook advisor. Karla joined the Office of Assessment and Evaluation as a curriculum program specialist; then returned to Washington High School as an assistant principal. During the 2011-2012 school year she was the assistant principal at Washington High School and Slover Mountain High School.
Karla earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, and a Masters in School Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
Karla wants the community to know that she is honored to be appointed as an assistant principal at Grand Terrace High School. “I look forward to supporting Principal Angela Dischinger in creating an elite school for a community that has been looking forward to this incredible event for decades. I am excited to work with all of the Grand Terrace High School stakeholders to build a collaborative, all inclusive, student focused culture that fosters and nurtures student dreams and goals.”
